Ferdinand enters his second season on the Catholic staff in 2023, working primarily with defensive backs.

He began his career at DII Pace University. He started all 11 games of their season as a defensive back, making 44 tackles, forcing two fumbles and grabbing one interception. Ferdinand then transferred to DII Cheyney University where he played on offense as a wide receiver while also returning kicks and punts.

Prior to Catholic, Ferdinand coached wide receivers and defensive backs for three seasons at KIPP College Prepertory School in Washington D.C. There, he contributed to offensive and defensive schemes, traiend athletes and helped implement practice and physical conditioning programs. Off the field, he organized departmental fundraising efforts while collaborating with athletic administration while also planning and organizing offseason activities to boost team morale and bloster community engagement.
