Tyler Tobias joins the Catholic football program for the fall 2025 season, coaching cornerbacks.
Tobias comes to Catholic after a role as the Defensive Backs Coach at Potomac High where he helped develop three all-county defensive backs and one all-state defensive back.
Tobias graduated from the University at Albany in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics before playing his final season at LIU. At Albany, Tobias was a three-year starter, appearing in 27 games. He recorded 27 tackles, three PBUs, and one sack. In his final season at LIU, he appeared in five games, making 13 tackles and breaking up three passes.
