Thomas enters his second season as a member of the Catholic staff in 2023, working with outside receivers. During his inaugural season, he worked primarily with defensive backs.

After transferring from Ohio State, Thomas played football at and graduated from New Mexico in 2013. He also ran track and field at both schools.

After going undrafted in the 2013 NFL draft, the wide receiver signed for the Denver Broncos before being released on final cuts. In October, he was signed to the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on Dec. 20 and made his first career NFL reception on Dec. 22 in a conference game against the Tennessee Titans.

Thomas also spent time with the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League.

He returns to the DMV where he grew up, having attended Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Md.
