Ross joins the Catholic as the team's running backs coach.

Before Catholic, Ross worked as a reading specialist and mentor with in the Howard County Public School System. In this role, his responsibilities included breaking down a variety of word families into syllabi to help students sounds out and pronounce more complicated words within readings. He would also prioritize maintaining a calm and peaceful class environment to ensure that students feel comfortable.

Ross has experience as the running backs coach at Hammond High School. The team improved by four wins in his first season and earned a playoff appearance while the running back group rushed for over 1,000 yards. Ross also spent time coaching youth players within the Wilmington Eagles program in Wilmington, Del., where he focused on running backs, wide receivers and defensive backs.

Ross played five season at the University of Maryland, where he was a four-year starter. He garnered numerous awards, headlined by all-Big Ten honors in 2015 at the running back position. He was named player of the week five times throughout his career, twice ACC player of the week in 2013 then three-time Big Ten player of the week in 2015, after Maryland switched conference. He is 4th all-time in Terrapins history in career rush yards (2,543), 4th all-time in single-game rush yards (245 yards v. Indiana, 2015), 4th in career games with 100+ rushing yards (9) and 5th in single-season yards-per-carry (6.4, 2015).

Ross graduated from Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in American Studies and Communciations in 2015.
