The 2023 season will be Adam Shaker's first as Offensive Coordinator at Catholic University. Shaker began his appointment as the OC on March 22, 2023 after spending the past three seasons at Mississippi State.

Shaker joined the Bulldogs staff in January 2020 and served in different roles throughout the Mississippi State staff, most recently acting as the team's Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. Shaker also served as the team's interim Wide Receivers Coach for the 2023 Reliaquest Bowl versus Illinois. Shaker spent his time on the staff learning from the late coaching legend Mike Leach, one of the most innovative and influential offensive minds in the sport. Adam spent time as the team's Offensive Quality Control Assistant and also as an Offensive Fellow. While working with the receivers, he helped develop Makai Polk who led the SEC in catches with 105 in 2021.

Shaker has made a handful of other stops on his coaching journey, traversing through the collegiate ranks with some time spent at the high school level as well. Other stops include a stint as the Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach at Concord University (DII), and a stint as the Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach at Southern Virginia (DIII). At the Division I level, he spent time on the Virginia staff, the BYU staff, the Georgetown staff, and also was a student assistant at Old Dominion.

Academically, Shaker graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School before attending Old Dominion where he earned a Bachelor's in Psychology. Shaker is on course to earn a Master's Degree in Public Health as well.
