As a Sophomore (2020): Exhibition season due to COVID-19.

As a Freshman (2019): Made four appearences as a freshman... made four saves and posted an .800% save percentage. 

Before Catholic: Two-year varsity starter, top senior save percentage in Philadelphia area, three-time state qualifier, two-time district runner up at Mount Saint Joseph Academy... held a .920 save percentage in 2018 season... six-time National Indoor Tournament qualifier... member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society... was Mini-THON Committee Chair, Retreat Leader and member of Community Service Corps... played for the Mystx Field Hockey Club. 

Personal: Full name is Maeve Murphy McCarthy... born on May 8, 2001 in Philadelphia, PA...  daughter of Barry and Laura McCarthy... plans to major in business marketing... came to Catholic because the team felt like a family... sports hero is Alex Morgan... craziest ambition is to skydive in Hawaii... career plan is to own a candy store... superstitious about putting her right sock on before her left.
