Ferrucci begins her second season the Catholic University field hockey staff in 2023 after playing a vital role in leading the Cardinals to their first conference title since 2015 last season.
She boasts a diversity of experiences having worked in multiple different roles throughout professional, collegiate and youth athletics while also having played DIII field hockey.
Ferrucci graduated from Bowdoin College with degrees in Classics & Government and Legal Studies. She was a four-year starter on the field hockey team, garnering a number of accolades during her time. The goalkeeper earned All-NESCAC honors twice and was named all-region and all-American during her sophomore campaign in 2019. She led the team to a 14-1 regular season record in 2019 and an NCAA Tournament berth in 2021.
Ferrucci also boasts wide-ranging coaching experience working for numerous clubs in the New England area. She coached for HTC Field Hockey Club (Hartford, Conn.) for four years while also spending two years at Coastal Field Hockey Club (Portland, Maine). She also spent some time at Cape Code Field Hockey Club (Sandwich, Mass.) and North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, Maine) as the middle school head coach.
During her time at Bowdoin College, she worked as a Sports Information Assistant and Athletic Monitor. Her responsibilities included planning and organizing social media content across all sports pages. She also collected and logged stats for ongoing live events, including 2019 and 2020 NCAA women's basketball tounrnament contests.
Ferrucci also spent time working for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League as the Head Game Day Operations Intern. In this role, she created weekly schedules to delegate jobs for all gameday interns while also overseeing all off-field operations before, during and after home games. She was also responsible for mangining admissions, merchandising, collections and post-game events for players and staff as well as enhancing the overall gameday experience for fans during each game.
In May 2021, Ferrucci was selected from a large and competitive pool of student-athlete applicants to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Ind. There, she learned valuable leadership and career-oriented skills during discussions, lectures and activities with student peers along with current professionals acorss different areas of the sports industry.
Also during her time at Bowdoin, Ferrucci worked in the center for learning and teaching as a Greek and Latin tutor and Professor's Assistant. She collaborated with professors to assist students with upcoming assignments and class work in a manner that best-fit each individual student's learning style. Ferrucci also earned the Sewall Greek Prize, awarded annually to the sophomore with the highest standing in the Greek language.
Ferrucci was active within the visual arts program while also working as an Ally for LGBTIQ Students and an Advocate for Survivors of Sexual Violence.
