Sokach is in her third season as an assistant coach at Catholic in 2023.
A native of Scranton, Pa., Sokach played four seasons at Division I Drexel from 2017-20. She appeared in seven games in goal for the Dragons, recording a .606 save percentage in 566:46 career minutes. She made six appearances and five starts in cage as a redshirt freshman in 2018, posting a 4-0 record with a 1.12 goals against average and a .808 save percentage. She was named CAA Rookie of the Week on Sept. 4, 2018 after posting a 2-0 shutout win against Indiana.
Off the field, Sokach was a four-time NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree and four-time CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll selection. She was also named an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction in 2018 and member of the Dean's List each semester. She graduated summa cum laude in September 2020 with a bachelor of science in business administration.
Prior to Catholic, Sokach spent one year as a graduate assistant at Drexel working with the team's goalies. She has also worked as a goalkeeping coach for FSC Field Hockey and PA Elite Field Hockey Club.
Sokach, who received her master of business administration from Drexel in June 2021, currently resides in Washington, D.C. and is working on her Doctor of Law from The George Washington University Law School.
