Biography

As a Senior (2022): Played in all 11 games, starting at nose tackle. Made 18 tackles, two tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks. Made three tackles and 0.5 sacks at CNU on 9/24. Had three tackles vs. WPI on 10/8. Notched two tackles and a TFL at Bridgewater State in the New England Bowl.

As a Junior (2021): Appeared in one game, making a tackle vs. Endicott on 9/18. 

As a Sophomore (2020): The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

As a Freshman (2019): Appeared in one game. 

Before Catholic: Member of the football and track & field teams at T.C. Williams ... named to the all-district first team and all-region second team as a senior.

Personal: Born June 5, 2001 ... son of Haddis Yazew and Messelech Abera ... has three sisters, Lelena, Tehetena and Tekuamwork ... majoring in operations management with a minor in sports management ... chose Catholic because the business school provides a lot of opportunities for his future and it's D.C. location ... a fun fact about him is that his high school is the school that inspired the movie, Remember the Titans.
