As a Sophomore (2022): Appeared in eight games for Catholic. Caught three passes for 30 yards (10.0/catch). Caught a 24-yard pass at MIT on 10/1. Picked up a pair of three-yard catches at Coast Guard & Norwich. 

Before Catholic: Member of the football and track & field teams at McKinley Tech ... two-time all-league and all-state wide receiver ... member of the Honor Roll and National Honor Society.

Personal: Born June 18, 2002 ... majoring in business ... has three siblings, Elijah, Eleyah, and Joseph Melendez ... team nickname is Kelz.
