High School: Four-year letterwinner at Mansfield ... played first season as a running back, scoring 20 touchdowns ... transitioned to defensive back field last three years, picking off four passes ... sophomore team went 13-0 and won the state championship ... also ran track, competing in the 400 hurdles, 100-meter dash and 4x100 relay.

Personal: Son of Mark and Susan Bukuras ... has three siblings, Andrew, Matt and Ames ... principal's leadership award honoree and sportsmanship award winner at Mansfield.
