Catholic Women's Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Catholic women's basketball team has announced its 2026-27 schedule. Matt Donohue's program will play a 25 game slate, highlighted by a 18 game Landmark Conference season.

Catholic opens its season at a tip-off tournament hosted by McDaniel with a game against Union. The second matchup will be determined by the teams' performance.

The Cardinals will once again host the Jamie Lynn Roberys - Fairfield Inn DC Holiday Classic. Catholic will play in the opening game on Nov. 14th against Penn State Altoona and close out the tournament with a matchup against Gettysburg on Nov. 15th.

Catholic will start conference play at Goucher on Nov. 18th, followed by a home tilt against Lycoming on Nov. 21 before the Thanksgiving break. After, the Cardinals will start December on the road at Juniata and Wilkes.

The squad will host Christopher Newport in a non-conference matchup on Dec. 13th.

Catholic will take a trip down to Naples, Florida to compete against St. Vincent and Marian on Dec. 29th and 30th, respectively.

All games in 2026 will feature Landmark opponents, opening the new year with a matchup against Moravian on Jan. 6th.

This season the Cardinals will make their return to the historic Palestra on January 10th at 12 p.m., taking on Drew. The Landmark Conference will be hosting their fifth annual Gameday at the Cathedral of College Basketball. This year's Gameday will be a part of the Palestra 100 celebration, honoring 100 years of the iconic venue.

The February slate will have six games with Juniata, Drew, and Elizabethtown at home and Moravian, Susquehanna, and Scranton on the road.
