WASHINGTON, D.C. - Catholic women's basketball will return to Gameday at the Palestra on Sunday, January 10, it was announced by the Landmark Conference today. The Cardinals will take on Drew at 12 p.m. as the Landmark Conference hosts its fifth consecutive year of games in Philadelphia, Pa.
Four games will be played on January 10, 2027 at the Palestra, beginning with the Cardinals match up against Drew.
The 2027 schedule features the following matchups:
- 12:00 PM: Catholic University vs. Drew University (Women)
- 2:30 PM: Wilkes University vs. Elizabethtown College (Men)
- 5:00 PM: Juniata College vs. Goucher College (Women)
- 7:30 PM: University of Scranton vs. Susquehanna University (Men)
In their last game at the historic Philadelphia venue in January 2024, the Cardinals took down Juniata, 70-49.
Catholic men's basketball also had the opportunity to play at the Palestra during the 2025-26 season, where the team matched up against Drew in a close contest, but defeated them 78-70.
The 2026-27 season marks the 100th anniversary of the Palestra. Known as the "Cathedral of College Basketball," the Palestra opened on January 1, 1927 and remains the oldest major college arena still in use today.
