WASHINGTON, D.C.  – After the completion of her second season on the Catholic women's lacrosse staff, Erin Murphy has been named the program's Associate Head Coach, announced by Meghan McDonogh. 

 "Erin's promotion to Associate Head Coach is a reflection of the care, leadership, and organization she brings to our program every day," said McDonogh. Along with taking on the role of Recruiting Coordinator, she continues to play a vital role in the success and growth of Catholic Women's Lacrosse. We are excited to see the continued impact she will have on our student-athletes and the future of our program."  

Over the two seasons with Murphy on the staff, the Cardinals have collected 21 wins and have made it to the Landmark Conference championship in both seasons.

During her time with the program, Murphy has helped mentor 10 All-Landmark selections, four IWLCA All-Region selections, and two honorable mention USA Lacrosse All-Americans.
