WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Catholic women's lacrosse team hosted Goucher College for another Landmark Conference match up on Wednesday evening. With four goals apiece, Henley Bredemann and Lindsay Sawyer guided the Cardinals to a 20-3 victory over the Gophers.

Sawyer followed her lead, beginning her scoring run with a goal of her own, unassisted. Just 10 seconds later, Maddie Rinker scored the Cardinals' third goal off a feed from Traynor, going up 3-0 within the first five minutes of game action.

The scoring continued in the first quarter with three new Cardinals finding the back of the net while the defense held the Gophers to a scoreless quarter.
