TOWSON, Md. - The Landmark Conference has selected Steven Dezelic of the Catholic men's lacrosse as Offensive Athlete of the Week, it was announced today. This is Dezelic's first honor of the season and the second of his career.

The Cardinals played two games last week, first against Mary Washington on Wednesday, March 18 followed by their first conference match at Moravian on Saturday, March 21. The senior attacker from Happauge, N.Y. totaled six goals and two assists across the two meetings for a total of eight points on the week.

In the first game of the week against Mary Washington, Dezelic led the team, contributing three goals in Catholic's 9-8 victory. He netted the Cardinals final goal of the game to solidify the win over the Eagles.

Against the Greyhounds, Dezelic secured his third hat trick of the season, scoring three goals in the Cardinals' 21-9 win. He also recorded two assists to total five points.

Dezelic is now second in two categories this season, with 15 total goals and 23 points. He has started in all nine games this season. Dezelic last received the honor on March 25, 2024. He joins teammate Colton Manorek as the second person to receive conference honors during the Cardinals 2026 campaign.

Up next, Catholic will hit the road to face off against Goucher on Wednesday, March 25. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Beldon Field.
