| By:
KANSAS CITY, Mo.  – Joining the group of Jesse Hafemeister, Jay Howard, Bryson Fonville, Chris Kearney, and Matt Hilleary, CJ Ruoff has been named a Second Team All-America by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) making him the seventh player in program history to earn the honor. It is the third consecutive season that a Catholic player has earned a spot on the NABC All-America team.

Ruoff becomes the third player in program history to receive second team honors joining Hilleary who did so twice and Hafemeister. Ruoff continues to pile up the accolades as the Landmark Player of the Year and NABC and D3hoops.com First Team All-Region V selections.

Ruoff put together one of the most prolific scoring seasons in program history, finishing eighth in points per game (19.5) and seventh in total points (547) in DIII single-season program history. Ruoff also led the team in three-pointers made on the season with 68 while knocking his shots down at a 39 percent clip from deep. He also led the team and finished third in the Landmark in assists with 122 and 4.4 per game during the season.

Ruoff had 21 games this season where he scored 15 or more points, including 13 games where he had 20+ point outings. He also had a week where we scored 70 points over a two game stretch against Elizabethtown and Lycoming.

Overall, Ruoff is now the 16th player in program history to receive an All-America honor.
