ATLANTA, Ga. — The Catholic women's basketball program received Special Mention honors from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) with the recent announcement of its 2024-25 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
Matt Donohue's program boasted a team cumulative GPA of 3.63 this past academic year to top last year's mark of 3.58. The Cardinals posted a 24-5 record last season and made their seventh NCAA Tournament appearance.
