WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Regardless of the outcome of tomorrow's match with Moravian, Catholic will enter the Landmark Conference Tournament as the number two seed thanks to a 4-0 victory at Lycoming on Friday.
Friday's match started at Brandon Park for doubles action, but the match was forced to move inside to the Central PA Tennis Center.
Charlie Robbins and
Henry Ogden nabbed a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles and
James Earwood and
Diego Romo won by retirement at No. 1 doubles after taking an early 4-1 advantage to earn the doubles point for Catholic.
Earwood grabbed an 8-1 victory at No.1 singles, as did
Lorenzo Neri at No. 2 singles.
Drew Andrianopoulos was dominant at No. 4 singles, winning 8-0. Catholic took the match 4-0 as it was played to clinch with eight-game pro sets.
Catholic finishes the regular season at Moravian tomorrow afternoon.
