WASHINGTON, D.C. — Catholic women's basketball head coach
Matt Donohue has announced the program's Catholic University Women's Basketball Spring Elite Camp will be held on Sunday, May 4.
The annual one-day intensive basketball camp for prospective college athletes will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Dufour Center on the campus of Catholic University This camp is for prospective student-athletes entering 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2025.
Participants will experience a full day of collegiate-level practice and training sessions while also receiving skill work in position-specific drills where the Catholic staff will evaluate your strengths and hone in on areas for improvement.
Donohue and his staff will be offering the ability for prospective athletes to experience a "day in the life" of a collegiate athlete to see what it takes to play at the next level. The camp also offers the chance to better learn the "X's and O's" of college basketball while developing a high basketball IQ.
The cost for the camp is $105 and all participants can either bring their own lunch or purchase lunch through the Camp Store. In order to register, fill out
this form and follow the instructions on the second page. All campers are also required to fill out the
waiver form.
Under Donohue's leadership, Catholic has won three Landmark Conference Tournament Championships and appeared in seven NCAA Tournaments. Donohue has won 321 games during his time at Catholic, winning just above 72 percent of his games. The Cardinals have won 20 or more games eight times under his leadership.
