Moehringer Becomes Three-Time All-American at NCAA Indoor Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Emily Moehringer raced to a 13th-place finish in the mile at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon. 

Entering the event seeded 14th, Moehringer moved up the leader board one spot during her prelim run to beat seven other competitors. She crossed the finish line with a time of 4:57.64, coming in just shy of her personal best and school record time of 4:56.93. Moehringer earned Second-Team All-American honors for her performance, marking the third time she has earned the nod after being named a 2024 Outdoor Second-Team All-American and a 2023-24 Indoor Second-Team All-American in the 800m. 

The top competitor in the field finished in 4:53.82 while the final qualifying time was a 4:55.35. Moehringer bested the final competition in the event by over 10 seconds. 

Moehringer is the only student-athlete in program history that has more than one All-American honor to her name. She and Andrea Galeano are the only Cardinals to have qualified for two NCAA Indoor Championshps.
