KANSAS CITY, Mo. -
Teighan Boyle of the Catholic women's soccer team has been selected for the 2025 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All-Region V Third Team. This marks the first All-Region of Boyle's career and makes her the fourth player to secure the recognition under head coach
Casey Sommers.
The senior from Bethlehem, Pa. was named team captain for the 2025 season and she was one of just two players to appear in all 21 matches. She was the only Cardinal to start in every contest, leading the team with 1,669 minutes played. Boyle contributed two goals and four assists for eight points, and logged a full 90 minutes in 11 matches, including Catholic's 1-0 victory over Lycoming in the Landmark Conference First Round.
Her strong play throughout the season earned her a spot on the All-Landmark Conference First Team. Boyle also cemented her spot in the Catholic program record books, tying her for 12th in most appearances with 74 in her career.
Boyle becomes the latest Cardinal to earn USC All-Region recognition, joining teammate
Isabel Doherty, who was named to the All-Region Third Team in the 2024 season. She is one of just nine Cardinals who have received All-Region Third Team honors.
With this selection, Boyle becomes the program's 21st All-Region honoree since 2005.
