Men's Basketball Set to Play Drew at Palestra Next Month

| By:
WASHINGTON, D.C.   — The Catholic men's basketball team is one month away from taking on Drew at the Palestra in a rematch of last season's Landmark Conference championship. The Cardinals are set to take on the Rangers on Sunday, January 11 at 12 pm, kicking off the slate that day.

Tickets to the game can be purchased by clicking HERE. Ticket prices are $25 for bleacher seats and $30 for chairback sideline seats. A ticket purchased grants access to all four games throughout the day. The gym will not be cleared in between games.

Known as the "Cathedral of College Basketball," the Palestra opened in 1927 and remains the oldest major college arena still in use today. It has hosted more games, more visiting teams, and more NCAA tournaments than any other venue of its kind and currently serves as home to the Philadelphia Big 5 Championship. It will be the second time the Cardinals will have the opportunity to play in the venue, the last time coming in 2023 when they defeated Goucher 94-47. This season marks the fourth consecutive year that the Landmark has hosted games at the Palestra

"We are thrilled to return to Philadelphia this season for the Landmark's annual Game Day at the Palestra," said Catholic men's basketball Head Coach, Aaron Kelly. "This event has proven to be a great experience, not only for our players but also for our alumni, many of whom have strong Philadelphia ties. We had a great show of support in 2023 and hope for the same in 2026!"
