TOWSON, Md. – Sophomore Lauren Kraft was named Landmark Athlete of the Week after scoring a career-high 23 points against Lycoming and a career-high 12 rebounds against Goucher, it was announced today. This is her first time in her career to receive this honor.

In Wednesday's home opener 72-50 win against Goucher, Kraft was a key piece off of the bench. The sophomore led the team with a career-high 12 rebounds, 10 of which were defensive. She also put up eight points for the Cardinals, shooting 1.000 from the free throw line.

In a 92-44 road win over Lycoming, Kraft led the Cardinals with a career-high 23 points, six rebounds, and four steals. Four of her nine baskets were made beyond the three-point arc.

Up next, the Catholic women's basketball team will host Juniata on Wednesday, December 3rd at 5 p.m. on Franny Murray Court.
