WASHINGTON, D.C. - Catholic's senior forwardÂ
Anna Scoblick has been selected for the D3hoops.com Preseason Women's All-American Second Team, it was announced today. This is the second consecutive year Scoblick has been selected for the team, making her the first ever two-time Preseason All-American in program history.
Scoblick has been racking up the accolades during her three years at Catholic. Prior to the start of the 2024-25 season, Scoblick was selected for the Preseason Women's All-American Third Team. Scoblick was also selected for the D3hoops.com All-Region First Team following the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. She was also the first Region V Player of the Year in program history in 2023-24 season.
In her junior season, Scoblick earned the title of Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year and was a member of the Landmark All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive year. She was also a 2024-25 WBCA All-American Honorable Mention.
Scoblick was one of two players to start in all 29 games in the 2024-25 season and led the team with 14.1 points per game, recording 410 points in the 2024-25 season. Scoblick led in the blocks category with 31 and was tied for most assists last season with 87. She had the second-most rebounds with 204 and steals with 55.
The Cardinals' season tips off on Monday, November 10th in Winchester, Va. Catholic will take on Shenandoah at 5 p.m.
