Andrew Tabor was named Landmark Conference Offensive Athlete of the Week after a stellar performance against Moravian, it was announced today. It is the first time in his career that he has earned the honor and it is the second consecutive week a Cardinal has been earned Landmark Athlete of the Week.
Tabor had a career-day in a 26-20 overtime victory for the Cardinals against Moravian on Saturday. He hauled in a season-high six passes for a career-high 95 yards with three touchdown receptions. His touchdown catches went for 31, 12 and 14 yards and included the game-winning touchdown in overtime to knock off the Greyhounds. It was the most touchdown catches by a Catholic player since
Preston Jeffrey hauled in three against SUNY Morrisville in 2023.
Tabor now has five touchdown receptions on the season, which ranks second in the Landmark and leads the team. He has 16 catches for 210 yards which is the second most yards on the team this season. He recently reached 100 receptions for his career with a touchdown against Juniata two weeks ago.
The Cardinals are back in action on Saturday, October 25 when they hit the road to take on Susquehanna. Kickoff is set for 1 pm.
