MADISON, N.J. - Thanks to a last-minute goal from the Rangers, Catholic women's soccer fell to 5-5-2 with a 1-0 loss at Drew on Saturday afternoon.
Isabella Grof-Tisza scored off a Rebecca Racine assist in the 87th minute, putting an end to what looked to finish as a scoreless draw.
Ava Rieger made six saves in goal for Catholic in the losing effort.
The Rangers out shot Catholic 10-6 in the outing with Drew's Sarah Crowley recording three saves to keep the Cardinals out of the net.
Rieger made three first-half saves as the Cardinals and the Rangers played to a scoreless first 45 minutes. Rieger added saves in the 16th, 22nd, and 43rd minutes, saving three Alexa Krause shots.

Savannah Hensley had a shot attempt blocked before
Isabel Doherty put one on target, but Crowley saved it for the Rangers. Two minutes later,
Ava Gregorio kept the pressure on Crowley, but once again it was saved.
Still 0-0, Rieger saves a Maggie Speckhart shot in the 63rd minute before turning away one of Racine's offerings in the 71st minute. After calming a three shot storm in the 84th and 85th minutes, Catholic finally broke in the 87th as Racine had open field in front of her and got into position before passing it off to Grof-Tisza for the lone goal of the contest.
Despite the loss, Catholic continues an impressive season defensively as the Cardinals have allowed just seven goals in 12 contests. The Cardinals have only allowed more than one goal once all season.
Catholic remains on the road, heading to Elizabethtown for a Landmark Conference road contest on Wednesday evening.
