WASHINGTON, D.C.

Catholic used another 9-0 run just moments later as CJ Ruoff drilled his first three of the game, followed by a pair of triples from Neylon to make it 26-10. Continuing the run of spurts, Catholic ripped off a 15-0 run later in the half to break the game wide open as Sechi scored just after a Googie Seidman three-pointer to make it a 50-16 game with 4:32 to play in the half. The Cardinals entered the locker room with a 58-26 edge after Dan Buckley scored with seven seconds left on the clock.
