Aleman Featured as ABC7 Toyota Team Player

WASHINGTON - Lindsay Aleman of The Catholic University of America women's soccer team is now the program's all-time leading scorer and has been recognized for her achievements by WJLA ABC7 as the "Toyota Team Player of the Week."

Aleman notched her 50th career goal against Juniata College on Oct., 1, becoming the first women in Catholic soccer and Landmark Conference history to hit the 50-goal milestone. The senior from Hockessin, Del., continued her scoring streak with four-points against Virginia Wesleyan (10/4), three-points versus Elizabethtown (10/8) and two-points against Goucher (10/12), making her the program's all-time leading scorer at 118 career points.

The Cardinals have a 10-1-0 overall record, 3-1 in the Landmark. They will close out their regular season with three Landmark matches, at Moravian (10/15), at Drew (10/22) and hosting Scranton (10/29).
