Box Score Bridgewater, Va. – The Catholic University of America football team wrapped up the 2015 season on the road Saturday, falling to Bridgewater, 45-13. Senior quarterback T.J. Tutone accounted for both of CUA's touchdown's as he continues to lead the nation in completions per game.
Tutone threw the ball around 52 times against the Eagles, completing 38 passes, four more than his nation-leading average. The senior QB found classmate Jamie Young for a four-yard touchdown in the second quarter before adding a four-yard rushing score at the end of the third.
Tutone completed the day with 262 yards in the air and led the Cardinals on the ground, rushing 16 times for 51 yards.
CUA's prolific quarterback also found his favorite target, junior Lucas Morley, 10 times in the game. Morley came into the game leading all NCAA Division III teams with 10 catches per game.
Catholic totaled more first downs than Bridgewater, but the Eagles were able to come up with several big plays to outgain the Cardinals in total offense, 542-392.
BC signal caller Matthew Pisarcik went for 319 in the air with three touchdowns while running back Kevon White ran 22 times for 97 yards and a score. Pisarcik also found wide receiver Keith Jennings seven times for 163 yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, safety Dave Zarkoski led the way with six solo stops and 11 total tackles. Seniors Pat Stillmun and Paul Tecklenberg also closed out their careers in impressive fashion. Stillmun made eight stops for his cornerback spot while "Teck" made five tackles while also picking off a pass.
