WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to the Eagles of Mary Washington in a mid-week non-conference matchup.

Junior Tyler Zimmerman registered the Cardinals' only goal at the 60-minute mark without the assistance of his teammates.

Catholic tallied 11 shots and one corner kick, as sophomore goalkeeper Steven Lukas finished with two saves.

The Cardinals head to Mechanicsburg, Pa., on Saturday, September 13 to take on Messiah at 7 p.m.
