Sarah Lodge will join the Catholic University Athletic Communications office as a graduate assistant in 2025.
A spring graduate of The College of Wooster with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Economics, Lodge was also a four-year member of the softball program.
Lodge recently completed her third year as an athletic social media intern for the Wooster athletic department. She also served on the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Social Media Corps, the NCAA DIII Strategic Athletics Communication Guide Working Group, and worked in game operations for in all four of her years at Wooster.
As an intern for Wooster, Lodge completed gameday graphics, DIII Week graphics, helped at media days, and completed whatever other tasks were assigned. That role propelled her into working as an intern for the NCAC Social Media Corps where she worked with other interns across the conference to create content that highlighted the individual schools. In the summer of 2024, she was selected to the NCAA Div. III CSC Student Program held at the College Sports Communicators convention. Lodge served as a broadcaster for the NCAC Baseball Conference Championships and handled the postgame interviews for the NCAA DIII Women's Lacrosse Championships. She recently worked the NCAA DIII Baseball Championships in conjunction with the NCAC.
In the NCAA DIII Strategic AthComms group, Lodge served as the sole student voice in a small group composed of a few athletic communications directors, a number of ADs, a conference commissioner, and the NCAA’s Katie Mucci.
As a softball player, Lodge appeared in 116 games, hitting .267 with 14 extra-base hits and 30 RBI.
