McKenzie joined the Catholic coaching staff for the 2024 season as an assistant coach with the backs. Originally from the Philadelphia area, he began playing rugby at LaSalle High School where he also played football. He is an alum of Catholic University (BS/BA 2017) and played rugby for Catholic. McKenzie was a four-year staple in the backline, moving across a variety of positions during his time as a Cardinal. He is a Level 1 certified World Rugby Coach. He lives in DC and works in the global financial transaction industry.
