Hired in October, 2023, Neil Donahue serves as the Senior Director of Advancement for Athletics at Catholic University, where he leads fundraising, alumni relations, and parent engagement efforts to support the university’s athletic programs. A two-time graduate of Catholic University, he brings a deep personal connection to the Cardinal community, having both played and coached rugby during his time on campus.

In his role, Neil works closely with Athletic Director Kevin Robinson and university leadership to advance key initiatives, including major gifts, endowed coaching positions, capital projects, and annual giving campaigns such as the Cardinal Athletics Giving Challenge. His efforts help enhance student-athlete experiences and strengthen engagement with alumni, parents, and supporters of Cardinal Athletics.

With a passion for collegiate athletics and a dedication to the university’s mission, Neil is committed to ensuring that Catholic University’s student-athletes have the resources they need to succeed on and off the field.
