Kate Robinson

Former CUA All-American Kate Robinson is in her second year asan assistant coach for the Cardinals.  Robinson is the mostdecorated women’s lacrosse player in CUA history, owning theschool record for goals (268), points (383), draw controls (252)and caused turnovers (114).  A three-time captain, she waspart of four Landmark Conference championship teams and helped leadthe Cardinals to a pair of regional finals in the NCAATournament.

A three-time All-American, four-time All-Region selection andfour-time All-Conference selection, Robinson was named the 2007Capital Area Conference Rookie of the Year.  She was thennamed the 2008 and 2009 Landmark Conference Player of theYear.  Prior to the 2010 season, Robinson earned LacrosseMagazine’s preseason Division III Player of the Yearhonors before an injury cut her season short. 

A native of Emmitsburg, Maryland, Robinson returned from injury in2011 and finished second on the Cardinals with 46 goals and 81points.  She once again received All-Amercan, All-Region andAll-Conference accolades.

Off the field Robinson was a multi-year member of the LandmarkConference Academic Honor Roll and in 2010 she earned CUA’sprestigious Donley Cup, which is awarded annually to a femalestudent-athlete regarded as an outstanding leader, athlete, andscholar who made significant contribution to the campus andcommunity.

Robinson earned her bachelor's degree in psychology in 2010 and iscurrently working on her master's degree at CUA inmanagement.
