Amanda Scott joins the Catholic Athletics Facilities and Operations team as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2025 after graduating from the University of California Santa Cruz in the spring. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She was a four-year member of the women's soccer program.Â
At UC Santa Cruz, Scott captained the women's soccer team for two years, helping to lead the team to the program's first C2C Championship in history this past fall. Scott was named to the All-C2C First Team in 2022 and 2024 and was a second-team selection in 2021. For her career, she appeared in 66 games, scoring 20 goals and adding 12 assists from her position in the midfield.Â
Scott also served on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for four years and was an Executive Board member for three years. As an executive board member she was heavily involved with the planning of student-athlete events, volunteer events, and helping bring student-athletes from all teams together. Because of her time on the SAAC Executive Board she was able to attend the NCAA Convention in Nashville with Administrators and the Co-President of SAAC. She was also inducted into the first National College Athlete Honor Society (Chi Alpha Sigma) at UCSC this spring.Â
Scott worked as a Facilities and Maintenance Assistant for the Athletic and Recreation Department for three years. Her responsibilities included facility field lining for NCAA, club, and IM sport activities, building maintenance, and financial data keeping.Â
