Alex Herrmann joined the Catholic University Athletic Communications staff in October 2025 as the Assistant Director for Athletic Communications.
Herrmann arrives at Catholic after spending the past two years at St. Thomas University, where she served as an Athletic Communications Assistant. She first joined the Bobcats’ staff as a Graduate Assistant in 2023, contributing to the coverage of all athletic programs while gaining experience in statistics, graphic design, photography, and digital media strategy. During her time at St. Thomas, she also earned her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Administration from the Gus Machado School of Business.
Prior to her time at St. Thomas, Herrmann attended American University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communication in 2023. While at American, she served as a Sports Information Director Intern throughout all four years, supporting NCAA Division I athletic programs and building a strong foundation in collegiate athletic communications.
