As a Junior (2020-21): Appeared in all seven matches... played all of her singles matches at No. 1 singles and all of her doubles matches at No. 1 doubles... claimed an immense come-from-behind win (1-6, 6-4, 6-0) at No. 1 singles to power the team to a 5-4 victory over Elizabethtown in the Landmark Conference Quarterfinals. This victory came against a player that she had fallen to earlier in the season... claimed an important 8-4 victory at No. 1 doubles to push team to a 5-4 victory over Susquehanna... won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and 8-2 at No. 1 doubles in the team sweep of Juniata... won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1 singles against Scranton.
As a Sophomore (2019-20): Appeared in eight total team matches... participated in the Battle of Blue Ridge, winning one singles and one doubles match there... played all of her singles matches and doubles matches at the No. 1 position... claimed victories at No. 1 singles (6-2, 6-4) and No 1. doubles (8-1) in a team victory over St. Marys (Md.)... claimed two victories against York (Pa.), winning 6-1, 7-6(7-3) at No. 1 singles and 8-6 at No. 1 doubles... had a hugely important 8-7(7-4) victory at No. 1 doubles to push team to a 5-4 win over Carroll (Wis.) at Hilton Head Beach and Tennis.
As a Freshman (2018-19): Appeared in 14 total team matches... participated in the ITA Regionals, winning three singles matches and two doubles matches and reaching the final in both draws... won at both No. 2 singles (4-6, 6-3, 6-1) and No. 2 doubles (8-3) in a team victory over Juniata... claimed victories in both singles and doubles against York (Pa.), winning 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and 8-5 at No. 2 doubles... won an extremely competitive No. 2 singles match 6-0, 5-7, 10-8 in a team victory over Shepherd... won at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-2 and at No. 2 doubles 8-2 against Gettysburg... won at No. 2 singles 7-6(7-2), 6-4 in a team victory over Susquehanna... won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles in a team victory at St. Marys (Md.).
Personal: Born on Feb. 17, 2000 .... daughter of Joe and Daiana Simonson... has one brother, Blake... is an SAAC representative... Director of Campus Wellness Initiative... is a member of the Intelligence Club... participated in gymnastics for 13 years througout her childhood... chose Catholic because of her interest in politics and her acceptance into the Honors College, as well as her overnight visit with the tennis program which really convinced her that playing tennis at Catholic was the correct decision.
