Morgan Zamora

Zamora joins the Catholic coaching staff for her first season in 2024 after a successful playing career at two high-major DI programs.

The infielder played three seasons in her home state at UC Berkeley where she appeared in 33 games. Competing in the Pac-12, what is widely recognized as one of the top softball conference in the country, Zamora made 16 starts her junior season, accumulating a .268 batting.

She transferred to Georgetown for her senior season where she appeared in 48 games, tallying 34 hits and blasting five home runs. She drove in 26 runs and scored 24 runs for the Hoyas.

Zamora also boasts an impressive high school career at Cajon where she was a four-year starter and a two-time First-Team All-Citrus Belt League Selection. She was a member of the Varsity .300 Club from her sophomore to her senior seasons while also being honored as the District 9 Female Athlete of the Year during her sophomore campaign and earning the Outstanding Athlete Award during her senior year. She was a two-time team MVP at Cajon and while playing her club ball for Firecracker Blanco, placed in the top five at TC/USA Nationals in 2016.
