Lajeunesse joins the Catholic coaching staff for her first season in 2024 after a very successful playing career in the Cardinals red.
Lajeunesse played four years at Catholic, with her senior campaign coming while head coach Sophie Maccarone was on staff as an assistant coach. She also shared the dugout with Maccarone during the three years prior as a teammate.
The right-hander from Latham, N.Y., featured in an impressive 78 games, making 50 starts.She logged 118.2 career innings in the circle, pitching to a 2.48 career ERA in 45 appearances. When she was not in the circle, she spent the majority of her time at first base and was a formidable threat with the bat, maintaining a .277 career batting average.Â
