Biography
2018-19 (Junior): Ran a personal best in the 3000m in 9:44.31 at the Diplomat Open ... set a personal record of 54.24 in the 400m at the Patriot Games ... finished sixth in the 800m at 2:00.84 at the Landmark Indoor Championships.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Placed sixth with two career-bests in both the 800m (1:57.25) and the 1500m (4:03.69) at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships... set a career-best in the mile (4:24.63) at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships ... earned All-Landmark Second Team honors.
2016-17 (Freshman): Placed first in the 1500m (4:03.72) and seventh in the 800m (1:58.43) at the Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships... set a career-best in the 5000m (16:34.78) to place tenth at the UMW Opener... finished first in both the mile (4:27.11) and distance medley relay (10:43.40) at the Landmark Conference Indoor Championships ... earned Rookie of the Year.
High School: Four-year member of the cross country team at Howard ... also competed in indoor track for four years and outdoor track for three.
Personal: Son of Adele and Paul LaPointe ... has two siblings, Jackie and Eddie ... majoring in electrical engineering.
