Stephen Lindeman joins the Catholic University Crew staff as a graduate assistant for the 2024-25 season as he pursues a Masters of Science in Management focused in Management and Leadership.
He began his rowing career in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area at St. Augustine Prep where he was a team captain, and continued rowing collegiately at Temple University where he received an English Literature degree. Â
Shortly after graduation, Coach Lindeman moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he participated in The New Teacher Project, a rigorous Alternative Certification teaching program that pairs highly dedicated and qualified teachers with high needs schools in order to close the achievement gap. During his time in Texas, he taught and coached varsity soccer.Â
After moving back to Philadelphia, Coach Lindeman continued teaching literature and began coaching rowing at Harriton High School. His love of rowing and teaching has led him here to Catholic University to foster his development into a full time collegiate coach.
