As a Freshman (2024): In his first collegiate meet, placed 41st in the 5k with a time of 18:43.3 at the Mount St. Mary's 5k Duals ... ran an 8k personal-best time of 28:16.9 to place 62nd at the 2024 Landmark Conference Championships.
Prior to Catholic: Ran varsity track at Mahopac...was also a member and team captain on the varsity soccer team...2x All-County selection...was the Vice President of his class.
Personal: Son of Norma and Jim Waring...has three siblings, Colin, Kira and Kensi...his brother, Colin plays men's soccer at SUNY Geneseo.
