As a Sophomore (2025): Appeared in 40 games, making 38 starts...hit .256 with 33 hits in 129 at-bats...finished second on the team with six home runs...recorded three doubles...drove in 21 runs and scored 30 runs...drew 20 walks...stole three bases...made his Catholic debut against #16 Randolph-Macon on Feb. 26...finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored on Mar. 9 versus Coast Guard...singled and scored four runs against #11 Kean on Mar. 11...launched his first two career homers and knocked in three on Mar. 19 against York (Pa.)...collected two hits, including a homer, with two runs scored versus Wilkes on Mar. 29...finished 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored against Scranton on Apr. 19...ripped a single and scored two runs on May 3 at Drew...went 1-for-3 with an RBI in the Landmark Conference Championship against Scranton on May 11...notched two hits with a double in the NCAA Regional against #15 Rowan on May 17...launched a homer in an elimination game in the NCAA Regional on May 17 at Mount Union...finished 2-for-4 with a homer in the NCAA Regional versus #15 Rowan on May 18.

Prior to Catholic: Played his freshman season at Holy Cross where he appeared in two games and scored a run...played three seasons of varsity baseball at Archbishop John Carroll...Second Team All-Conference selection.

Personal: Son of Jack and Kim Bateman...has two sisters, Hannah and Carly...both of his sisters played field hockey at Catholic.
