Jacqualine Brooks '82 - Women's Cross Country
Jacqualine Brooks was a member of CUA's cross country team when the Cardinals competed at the Division II level. She won the Mason-Dixon Cross Country Championship meet in both 1979 and 1981 while finishing second in 1980. She was named to the All-Eastern Cross Country Team in 1979 and finished second in the region at the 1980 Eastern Regionals of the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.
Maj. Gen. Donald Lamontagne '69 - Football, Baseball
Maj. Gen. Donald Lamontagne was a standout in both football and baseball for the Cardinals. He was the co-captain of the 1968 football team that faced off against Fordham University in the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bowl. He led the nation in pass receiving for two years and was named to the National Club Football Association All-American team in 1968. For the baseball team he lettered for three years as both a catcher and an outfielder.
Stanley Levy '50 - Men's Cross Country, Men's Tennis
Stanley Levy finished his career for the men's tennis team at CUA as a four-year starter at the No. 1 singles position and team leader. As the number one player, Levy led the team to an unprecedented 68 consecutive wins. In both 1948 and again in 1950 he won the individual conference championship for CUA.
Timothy McCormick '77 – Baseball
Tim McCormick earned four varsity letters for the Cardinals as a starter on the baseball team. In 1974 and 1975 McCormick was named to the Capital Area Conference all-star team as a shortstop and in 1976 he earned All-Metro laurels. In 1977, he led the Cardinals to a Division I ECAC championship and a NCAA Eastern Regional Tournament championship. Following his impressive playing career, he was s elected as the team's head coach and served in that capacity for three seasons.
Michael Stotz '81 – Football
Mike Stotz was a standout wide receiver on the football team from 1977 to1980. He paired with CUA Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Stanislav to form the vaunted "Stanislav-Stotz Connection" and still holds the program record for most yards gained per reception in a season and career. He also remains in the top 10 for most touchdowns in a career (5th), most receptions (6th) and most yards gained (7th).
