Betsy Laborde '92 – Volleyball
A three-time captain of the volleyball team and team MVP her senior year, she led her team to three record-breaking seasons. In addition to volleyball, she lettered in basketball and track.

 
Arthur Cranston '51 - Men's Basketball, Baseball
He led all Cardinal basketball players during the 1947-1948 season with 202 points. The next year, he was the second-highest scorer. In 1951, he was selected to the Mason-Dixon Conference Team and the All-District Team. In 1948 he played baseball, becoming the team's top relief pitcher.
 

Douglas Eby '81 - Men's Tennis
The only CUA singles player ever to win the annual tournament of the top singles players in D.C. universities, he was also a member of the only CUA doubles team to win the Pro/Collegiate Doubles Tournament. He is one of four CUA tennis players ever to win the Harris Cup, the coveted CUA athletic award for service to the university as a scholar, an athlete and a gentleman.
 

Ralph Fuccillo '85 – Football
As a sophomore in 1982 he was credited with turning the CUA football program around. He helped his team set a school record with 19 quarterback sacks that year. The following season, Fuccillo had 16 sacks of his own, which led to his selection as the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Year and 3rd team Division III All-American. He still holds the CUA record for most career sacks, with 38.5.
 

William Holl '50 - Football, Men's Track & Field, Wrestling
A Harris Cup recipient and dean's list student, he ran the football for an average of 100 yards per game his senior year, was co-captain of the Mason-Dixon Conference champion wrestling team, and won the boxing title in the 155-pound division in the annual Catholic University tournament.
