Cardinals Finish Fourth at Cardinal Fall Classic

HAGERSTOWN, Md.  – The Catholic women's golf team finished the second round of the Cardinal Fall Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Cardinals improved by eight strokes from the first round, shooting a 337 as a team to finish the weekend in fourth place. 

Meghan Mullen had the best finish for the Cardinals on the weekend as she moved up four spots in the standings on Sunday with an 81 to finish in a tie for 10th place. She finished with two birdies and seven pars during her round.

Aleysha Ramos also climbed a handful of spots on the leader board by shooting an 82 as she knocked in eight pars and added two birdies on the back nine. Gabi Courtney landed just outside the top 15 by shooting an 85 where she had five consecutive pars at one point. 

Mary McGuire and Ellery Talbot were the other two Catholic players to compete and they shot an 89 and 93 respectively as Talbot also picked up a birdie on hole nine during her round.

Harper Capilli had the best finish for the Cardinals on the 'B' team as she finished in 18th place after shooting an 87. She poured in four pars during her round.

The Cardinals are back in action on Monday, September 28 for the Stevenson Fall Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club.
