WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following his first year as a member of the Catholic cross country and track and field staff,
JT Klopcic has been named the program's Head Coach, Vice President for Athletics and Recreation
Kevin Robinson announced.
"We are very excited to promote JT to head coach. The job he has done during his first year with the program has been incredible," said Robinson. "I believe this is the next step in cementing our cross country program as one of the top programs in the region. JT's holistic development of our student-athletes is second to none, and we know that will continue as he takes on the additional responsibilities that come with being head coach."
Over one season with Klopcic on the staff, both Cardinal cross country squads took second at the Landmark Conference Championships and placed in the top 10 at the NCAA South Region Championships.
During his time with the program, Klopcic has helped mentor six All-Landmark selections, three All-South Region selections, and two Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year selections.
