WASHINGTON, D.C. – Vice President for Athletics and Recreation
Kevin Robinson has announced the hiring of
Dahmir Noel as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations. Noel joins the Catholic staff having spent the past decade working in college athletics at the Division II and III levels.
Noel's most recent position was at Alma College where he was the Associate Athletic Director from June of 2024. He took on many roles in this position including managing all aspects of athletic event operations, overseeing the scheduling for athletic facilities and acting as the primary contact for external rentals. He was also the liaison between athletics and other departments around campus while also supporting marketing, promotion, fundraising and ticketing efforts for the department. Noel has worked at Alma since June of 2021, starting as the Director of Campus Recreation for three years.
"We are extremely excited to welcome Dahmir to our Catholic Athletics family," said Robinson. "Dahmir brings an infectious energy and passion for intercollegiate athletics. With over 8 years of experience in collegiate athletics facilities and operations, Dahmir will be bringing a fresh new perspective and innovative ideas to the role. He has demonstrated a strong work ethic at his previous stops and that is a key characteristic we identified for this role as we look to continue to move Catholic Athletics forward!"
Prior to his time at Alma, Noel spent nearly two full years at SUNY Brockport as Assistant to the Athletic Director where he performed a lot of similar facilities and operations duties including supervising the 2019 SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field championships. He had his first professional experience at Springfield College where he was an Athletic Administration Graduate Fellow.
Noel graduated from undergrad at Pitt-Bradford with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching before earning his master's in Physical Education from Springfield.
