WASHINGTON, D.C.  – Junior pitcher Luke Cardman earned a spot on both the D3baseball.com and ABCA All-Region V Teams, it was announced today. Cardman was named to the ABCA Third Team while being selected to the Second Team for D3baseball.com.

Cardman earned the first all-region honors of his career after being a First Team All-Landmark selection aided by a stellar season on the mound for the Cardinals. It is the fourth consecutive season that the program has had a player been selected to the all-region teams for both publications.

Cardman finished the season with the lowest ERA among qualified pitchers on the roster with a career-low 2.87, which was the second-lowest in the Landmark. Over 47 innings, Cardman struck out 39 batters to just 17 walks and held opponents to a .237 batting average. He was also tied for the team lead in wins with a 4-1 record.
